About Omega 3 fatty acids

Omega 3 fatty acids belong to the group of unsaturated fatty acids. The body is unable to produce them, so the body must be provided with adequate amounts of food or supplements.

It is found in large quantities in fatty marine fish. The best sources are herring, mackerel, salmon and tuna. The best sources for vegetarians are flaxseed, nuts and soy products.
